INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this presentation is to discuss about the proposed strategies for the
management of media campaign for the website for Amazon and Walmart. For the website to
be known by the target clientele/audience, it must be properly marketed. The markin g
campaign should be rolled out using the right and best strategies. The management should,
therefore, make the right choice of the media to use and how to use by overcoming any
challenges that might hinder its effective implementation. That is exactly wha t this presentation
explores.
THE MEDIA CHOICES
The campaign can be done through a variety of media platforms for Amazon and Walmart. That
is because there are different types of media that the management can choose to use as long as
it can serve it best and enable it to achieve its intended goals and objectives. Some of the media
platforms that are at the disposal of the management are social media, print media, and
broadcast media (Saura, Palos -Sánchez & Cerd á Su árez 2017). The management should evaluat e
the benefits and weaknesses of each of these channels before choosing the right ont to use for
the campaign.

Barki 20 18). It also creates a good space for interaction, networking, business, and
communication. To benefit from this platform, the management should consider using from
among the Facebook, Twitter, YuTube, Instagrm, and TikTok.
RATIONALE
There are many reaso ns why the management of Amazon and Walmart should consider
implementing the media campaign through the social media. First, the platform has a large
number of users. Its usage can, therefore, expose the company to a huge audience which can be
converted in to clientele (So, Wu, Xiong & King 2018). Besides, social media is easy to use as it
can enable the company to engage the audience in real -time and be able to get immediate
feedback from them. Lastly, social media is a cheaper alternative because it does n ot require a
huge sums of money to be managed.
LIMITATIONS
The management of Amazon and Walmart should not take the usage of social media should not
be taken for granted because it is not smooth as imagined. Just like any other platform, social
media ha s got certain drawbacks that render it less effective for usage in the marketing of
businesses. Among its limitations include the possibility of fraud from the cyber criminals,
infringement of individual users ’ privacy rights, and misuse by the communicati on team that
might fail to use the platform for the right purpose (G ómez, Lopez & Molina 2019). These are
some of the main challenges that the management should consider addressing lest they
compromise the quality of social media campaign efforts.
HOW T O USE SOCIAL MEDIA
The success of the campaign will depend on many factors including the manner in which the
channels are used. The management of these companies should, therefore, be keen on the way
it uses each channel. For this, this presentation recomm ends that the company should begin by
hiring professionals who have a sound knowledge of social media marketing (Chahal, Wirtz &
Verma, 2020). At the same time, it should offer a proper training to its social media
communication team. Training is important as it builds the capacity of the team. Better still, the
management should consider equipping the team with state -of-the -art facilities that are
enough for their operations.
SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCERS
The campaign can receive a boost if it is blended by the services of the social media influencers.
In the society today, there are celebrities who command a huge following in the society. For the
campaign to be effective, it should be supported by the influencers (Herhausen, Mio čevi d,
Morgan & Kleijnen 2020 ). The company should carefully select the influencers from among the
media personalities, digital marketers, athletes, and others. Through this, the company will
manage to succeed in the campaign. These celebs will attract a lot of people to the website.

as the marketing and popularity of the e -commerce platform is concerned. For it to achieve its

management should take stern measures to ensure that all the objectives are achieved. This can
be done by ensuring that the planning, piloting, and implementation phases are managed
perfectly.

that is to be rolled -out for the e -commerce platform. Although the management has many
options to choose from, it should opt for social media because it is the best alternative. The
management w ill use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. However, for the
